The future war is mainly local war based on high information technology, advanced weaponry enforce the non-contact ability and efficiency greatly. It requires that commanding system must be faster, more stable and more convenient. The future war requires combat forces should be an organic union system, like a same organism. As the most basic element of the battle, the individual-soldier seems like much more important. Like human the terminal nerve sensor, the information returned by the individual-soldier is always much more new and specific.Nowdays, the countries in the world are researching the future individual-soldier system one and another. In order to adapt the new style of war, the Chinese Army should make change based on information. The future individual-soldier system not only is on behalf of the aim of the future Army information technology, but also is the trend of investigation of the individual-soldier system equipment in the future war.The individual-soldier information system introduced in the Passage is based on the system integration chip design technology and quite muture embedded technology. Its function is also needed the rear monitoring center and the wireless correspondence network. The system involves data real-time Processing, digital wireless correspondence, the man-machine exchanged demonstration and automatic control technology and so on.The paper’s research direction is to design and complete the battlefield information transform by embedded data collection and processing system. The Algorithm in the embedded real-time operation system processes the data collected by sensor and form a matrix table, then send the table to termination data processing server of commanding center to complete the data collecting and processing.The paper introduce the process of both of hardware design and software design for portable data collection and processing system。The paper also elaborate the basic features of Low-Power Design and ZigBee protocol briefly introduce the BSP Transplantation and research of Linux kernel based on S3C2440ARM processor, and the wireless transportation of ZigBee protocol。The paper illustrate the system hardware design, especially the module-style method of hardware design. In the last, the paper shows the circuit design of embedded ARM processor module、 wireless sensor module、ZigBee module and so on.The first stage of development of the terminal system, which we discussed in this thesis, was completed.After being tested, it has been proved that both of the hardware and software function properly.
