| In2010, TV dating program became popular in China again. Comparing with the similar programs ten years ago, the new ones have particular characters in the type, amount, audience rating, and influence and so on. The representative program Fei Cheng Wu Rao, a Reality Dating Show, has affected the whole society. Even some saying goes like that we have entered into the new era of dating. At the beginning of2011, some new programs emerged, which focused on the marriage life and the emotion between husband and wife. These programs not only have enriched the style of TV Dating Show, but also have pushed forward this program trend. However, accompanied with popularity, there are serious critics on the program. It’s worth studying the following issues:what the problems the programs have, what the causes are, how to regulate them.This research attempts to discuss the relationship between TV program and the society. The study is based on the type of TV dating program and its development, and uses the theories of Typology of TV program, Communication, and Culture Study. The writer concluded that the problems of TV Dating Program were in four aspects:idea, content, style, and effect; analyzed the causes in media property, media function, media value and media expressing. At the end, the writer provided several solutions to promote the development of the program, which are strengthening the media property, innovating the type of the program, cultivating audience and improving the management. |
