| The resolution is one of important parameters of display device. Based on Visualc++, a software of the kinescope resolution measurement has been developed. Thesystem can measure the line-width and resolution quickly.The system employ a CCD camera to sample the data of the beam line profile ofthe kinescope. The software control the stepping motor and focusing power to realizethe function of automatic focusing optics and electric focus via serial port1and serialport2, respectively. Algorithm of golden section search is applied to focus automatically.Through data processing, any line-width and resolution can be calculated by thesoftware.The results indicate that the error of the system is within4%by measuring thestandard optical slit ranging30μm to500μm, while repeatability is better than95%.There are two kinds of sampling mode: one-column and multi-columns. Compared withone-column, the luminance profile of multi-column nearly meets Gauss distribution andthat of one-column show a relative deviation.The software has a friendly interface and a clear and simple menus. |
