The Research And Development Of New Rural Cooperative Medical Information System

Analysis, design and application of the new-type rural medical treatmentmanagement information system was completed, using the thought of softwareengineering, applying comprehensively network technique, database technique,information system analysis and design relevant knowledge, etc.Firstly, on the basis of investigation and study of the new-type rural cooperativemedical treatment present work condition, the system requirement analysis was carriedon, data flow charts of the system were given, processing flow charts of the mainbusinesses, such as the participate cooperative medical treatment service, the fundmanagement and the medical treatment management, were given.Then，the system overall design was carried out on the basis of the system analysis.The system network structure chart, entity relations chart and software system structurechart were given. This system adopts VPN technology, combines the system membersincluding cooperative medical treatment departments and fixed-place medicalinstitutions through public wide area network. The system works on a safe and crediblevirtual private network. The system adopts client/server structure. The whole systemwas divided into three sub-systems, such as the sub-system of the district ruralcooperative medical treatment management office, the sub-system of the town ruralcooperative medical treatment management office and the sub-system of fixed-placehospital management. The function modules of each sub-system were introduced. Thedistributed structure was adopted in the data store patterns, three kinds of databaseswere designed by dividing the data effectively: District center database, town clientdatabase and fixed-place hospital client database, and the three database modulediagram were given.Finally, detailed designs and the system application were carried out. System maininterfaces and detailed design results of the main function module were given. Thegeneral procedure of each sub-system was discussed. The advantage of borrowing VBprogramming and Microsoft Excel to apply to report module and its application thoughtwas introduced, and a report application example was given, the method has certain versatility. The application process of downloading and uploading data by XML datafiles and FTP telecommunication technology was elaborated, which made safetyexchange of the center database and the remote database. The application thought ofremote client software upgrade automatically was elaborated.The whole system has already been running for several months, the fact proves thesystem is steady and reliably, the performance is satisfied. The system has achieved theanticipated goal, and has met the demands of the new-type rural cooperative medicaltreatment work in RenCheng District, JiNing City.
