Therefore, theoffice automation system originated from the collaborative management concept ofbusiness management has become the requirements of the trend of our era. Theadoptation of OA system in prison will accelerate the process of paper-free office workand shorten the period of management process to realize zero distance between workarrangements and order commandments. On the other hand, the application of switchednetwork in OA system can help the different departments of the organization co-operateacross time and space to transmit information more rapidly and conveniently, as topromote management standard and reduce the working pressure of the prison policemen,and the policemen of the prison will be freed from the trivals of routine supervising andmonitoring such as the approving of the forms of supervision and legislationimplementation, the transmission of the files of law enforcement and the monitoring ofthe law enforcement subject to devote to the difficulties of prison management, whichwill make the decisions of law enforcement more scientific and the resilience andflexibility of the inner prison management stronger.This paper put forward a prison characterized inner OA system based on thedevelopment of Leshan Prison in Sichuan province and the analysis of the presententerprise OA system. This system includes not only the editing and processing of lawenforcement documents and the management and retrieval of law enforcement files, butalso the system of decision making of the prison administration.Based on the needs of prison management and supervision, the present paperintroduces office automation system developed independently by adopting acombination of prototyping and structuring method and computer technology, internettechnoglogy, management informatization and office automation technology. The system is divided into public information release module, system design module, userdaily operation working module, user’s daily log manangement module, means oftransportation management module, personal and public affairs management module,process management module, system administrator management module, user’s viewingpublic notice management module, management module for logged-in users ofdownload, upload and viewing files, etc.The web page of the system employes a combination of Dreamweaver web pagemaking software and Photoshop graph design software. The database supports systemenvironment using JSP dynamic page design technology and Struts,Spring,Hibernatetechnology, and MySQL database management system, which has powerful and perfectfeatures.
