| The construction of public health information system is one of the important partsin the construction of China’s national economy and social informatization construction.In1995,“National Informatization Sanitary Engineeringâ€, under the leadership ofministry of health, was set up and has been promoted throughout the country. Thisproject as an important national plan of Chinese health system, not only appliedinformation management science, computer technology and integrated communicationtechnology to medical and health field, but also optimized current imperfect medicalservice. Based on the medical information network, nationwide telemedicineinformation transmission system covering the whole country has been established so asto realize the computer network in medical institutions. Development and design ofHospital Management Information System (HIS) is a component in informatization ofmedical and health while research and development of computer, network and databasein HIS is the basic condition in modern hospital management. Construction and use ofHIS can enhance hospital management as well as improving healthcare quality.First, this thesis introduces the basic concept of HIS and the current research andapplication status of HIS at home and abroad in light of the trend of worldinformatization. It also analyses the characteristics of HIS and the significance of usingHIS. At the same time, this thesis clarifies the research value of HIS. Secondly, thisthesis introduces the design of HIS and the key technology related to the developmentof HIS, including the structure platform of management system, software developmenttools of client and database technology and so on. In the process of softwaredevelopment, this thesis analyses various development method and determines thepractical use method in the development of HIS. Thirdly, according to the analysis ofsystem requirement for hospital, requirement for information processing in HIS anddescription of system business, this thesis proposes the overall design principle of HISsystem and gives an overall design to the HIS system. Furthermore, this thesis makes adetailed description about the system function design and database design, illustrate adetailed design to the system as well as realization process as represented by hospital outpatient management system and does a relatively complete test on hospital outpatientmanagement system. Lastly, The authors summarize the contents of the thesis andproject development process, and Laid the foundation for future work. |
