The research and development of case-analysis based supporting system forequipment diagnosis and maintenance will enable the application of relative advancedtechnology in the field of equipment maintenance. It will also improve skills ofmaintenance personnel, helping diagnosis techniques play an active role in the processof equipment maintenance and, consequently, is helpful for regulating the managementof equipment.This work mainly focused and studied in details on the typical problems of rotatingequipments during their running. Considering the practices of our unit and new waysand techniques caused by the problems of rotating equipments, single system based onstatus monitoring and malfunctioning analysis of rotating equipments. Relative researchworks include:1) By adopting of system design ideas of software engineer, the knowledgeincluding project plan, demand analysis, system design and software test was discussedin details.2) The layer and class diagram about system design process was described, such as,top structure, behavior model, conception model, human-machine interface, componentdiagram and data acquisitions.3) Data storage format and operation mode about data acquisition and analysis weredefined.4) Maintenance system of equipment was developed based on Delphi. It integratedrelative function modules based on access interface of common database server, e.g.,system configuration, archives management, data analysis and so on.5) Results of unit test, integration test, regression test and system test demonstratedthat the developed system fulfill expected target and the requirement of on-site test.
