With the continuous development of the steel enterprises, the scale of production continuesto expand and production tasks continue to increase. In the new situation, how to achieveenterprise’s effective management, maximize the efficient use of existing resources, improveproductivity, reduce production cost, and become the focus of the work in the enterprisemanagement, steel equipment management is the key. Using modern mature of computertechnology and network communication technology to develop network management ofequipment is the enterprise’s first choice.The system combines the management of the actual situation of Wuyang Iron and SteelRolling plate plant equipment management, strictly follows standard software development anduses the method of software engineering for system development. Steel equipment managementinformation system development model is based on B/S program. Using J2EE technology asplatform, the use of component-based development methods, using SSH2three-tier system, withthe JDBC, Flexcell and Sitemesh technology, the system is divided into five layer structure: theuser performance layer, logic control layer, business realize layer, data persistence layer,database layer.Struts2MVC pattern controls the interaction between view and model, and usesthe interceptors to achieve a variety of functions in the presentation layer. Spring relays on thedependency injection mechanism to manage the business logic layer components, and reducesthe coupling between the levels of the system. In the data persistence layer, Hibernate providesdata persistence solution. JDBC implements the communication between the business layer andthe relational database. Equipment management system needs requirement analysis, includingseveral aspects of the system functions from the platform security, application security and datasecurity to ensure the security of the system. Second, determine the division of functionalmodules in the system, clear each module function point, establish whole system functionstructure diagram. In the subsequent detailed design, system modeling and database design foreach module. Thus a versatile and effective steel equipment management system is designed.
