Equipment management is critical for steel company, whereas the most effective means to ensure the equipment management conduct well is to introduce auxiliary information management. But with the steel production and accumulation of the equipment maintenance experience, data amount, data inquiry and software running responsible for heavy load have been increased. At this time, software can not continue working as before. Even, it will directly lead to data loss and huge economic losses. This is actually the software design's errors or software development methods fall behind. Irrational software structure, platform construction, software design and data modeling lead to failure and loss directly. This paper will model the core issues of the Equipment management of steel company and adopt the software architecture composed of J2EE software system and the good open source frameworks ,and adopt the technologies such as connection pool and data memory buffer to optimize system efficiency. At last, the ultimate goal is to get a stable, efficient, universal, and practical steel equipment management system.Firstly, the paper models the core issues of equipment management of steel company to obtain the core model of the equipment management. Secondly, it designs the software architecture based on J2EE software system which does well in stablity and the excellent distribution etc.And adopts the technologies of connection pool and data memory buffer to optimize system efficiency. Thirdly, it designs the whole equipment management system based on the core model of the equipment management. At last, the paper gives the program of typical front design, test and analysis of performance in runtime.The equipment management system of HeNan WuYang iron and steel company and WuHan iron and steel company have been put into use,which are based on this equipment management plan of steel company.Especially, the WuHan iron and steel company executes the expandament of attached question in equipment management, which makes the non-paper office of whole mobile branch becomes true.The users reflect that their work efficiency has been promoted greatly.
