| Video surveillance system provides an important guarantee for security and monitoringof various important places. With the expanding field of video surveillance systemapplication, the video surveillance technology has been rapid developed, especially themobile video surveillance technology.This research topic comes from a project “telescope” mobile video surveillancesystem. The system is designed to build a city-level mobile video surveillance platformto provide public mobile video surveillance service with various places of Zhongshan city.Traditional video surveillance systems are mostly based on the PC, users must access to aPC monitor to get the video images through Internet, it is unable to meet the demandfor accessing to surveillance images anytime and anywhere.This article has designed and implemented an RTSP-based mobile video surveillancesystem. The system provides video surveillance images through the mobile network formobile terminal anytime and anywhere. The mobile network bandwidth is insufficient, sothe video stream transmission is limited. By video surveillance images resolution scalingand frame rate reduction, the system has get the video images compatible with the mobilenetwork bandwidth. Further, this article study video stream transmission in the processof rate control and packet loss retransmission mechanism, to provide a smooth and stable,high-quality surveillance images for mobile terminals."Telescope" mobile video surveillance system has been deployed and running well.The monitoring of the Zhongshan urban Traffic, school and China Mobile Company has beenconnected to this video surveillance system, to provide mobile video monitoring services,while the effect of system operation. |
