Video Surveillance System Design On Android

As a traditional video technology combined with modern communication technology, the video surveillance has attracted more and more attention at home and abroad. In recent years, with the rapid development of computer science, the popularity of mobile internet, the improvement of image processing technology, the ordinary video surveillance based on network can not meet the diversified needs of users.Therefore, some totally new solutions, such as "mobile phone monitoring" and "mobile security", are widely presented and rapidly promoted in the security industry. Meanwhile, the mobile security will gradually come into our life.Based on the Android mobile operating system, this article aims to design a new video surveillance system according to the actual needs of users, and ultimately proposes two solutions. The first one is based on the traditional Web model of network video surveillance. This solution makes Webkit browser engine load the plugin with video monitoring, to expend the browser function and realize mobile surveillance. The second one is a video surveillance application in the form of mobile client. These above two solutions can realize the interactive control and RTSP streaming transmission between all kinds of terminal equipment based on the Android platform and the remote video acquisition server. The feasibility of this design has been verified in practical test.
