Since the invention of the lithium-ion battery, with its light weight, high capacity, longlife, pollution and other advantages, it will be more widely applied. With the rapid growth indemand every year, lithium battery production equipment will inevitably face the problem ofefficiency and performance.This project is derived from the lithium battery productionequipment-control studies of Square Automatic winding machine. I strive to study this issue,make sure to try and get some practical results.This paper analyzes the square lithium battery winding automatic machine system designrequirements. According to the control performance, system scalability, cost control and otheraspects of starting, we select the PC104and FPGA as the core to build the hardware platform.We select real-time RTAI Linux operating system. We designed a tension control system.Then I introduced the design of the hardware platform, including the main control board, IOexpansion boards, analog-digital board and the motor adapter plate and the correspondingdriver circuit design; software system design, including analysis of the hardware abstractionlayer, the task management process, motion control process, the soft PLC and user interfacemodules; Finally the tension control system theory, mathematical modeling, controlalgorithm.Now the controller has been applied to square fully automatic winding machine products,and achieved the desired control effect.
