Lithium battery is used widely in various fields with its unique performance advantages,the lithium battery production equipment in China is still in the relatively backward technology ,Especially in control technology have larger gap,Currently, most of the equipment is simple PLC control,for some complex control technology, PLC is unable to realize ,and the price of PLC is very expensive。Therefore, the research of high performance and low cost control system solutions become necessary.the topic analysis the functions of the equipment from the mechanical structure and electrical control of lithium battery winding equipment,The whole control system is divided into IO control module, tension control module, the winding control module, affixed to plastic module and so on. The lithium battery winding equipment adopts PLC and DSP controller combinations to realize control, PLC choose omron corporation CP1H - XA series products, DSP controller choose TI company 32-bit fixed-point high speed digital signal processor (DSP) chip TMS320F2812.According to the function of lithium battery winding equipment,system work mode as follows:through a serial port,PLC get operating parameters and instructions form touch screen and send them to DSP control module,DSP control module received parameters and instructions,began to control the corresponding sub-modules,if there is an exception in sub-modules,the exception information is backed to the PLC through the serial port。Through the CAN bus of DSP controller,System can realize network function of field devices。The traditional square winding machine adopts the control strategy of constant angular velocity; with tape speed is changed in sine curve, so which can not achieve constant tension control. In this paper,based on the traditional tension control system, leads to a constant speed, variable velocity control strategy. To achieve constant tension control by lithium battery winding machine, a fundamental solution to the deformation problems of lithium ion batteries, greatly improved the performance of lithium ion batteries. At present, Lithium battery winding machine With this scheme already through the project acceptance,The developed DSP control system can realize the lithium battery production process stuck tape, automatic accept feeding, automatic correction, and other functions, and has high accuracy and efficiency, the system runs in good condition。Realized the performance but used alone PLC can not reach, and reduce development costs and development time.
