Research On GDTV Networks Video Sharing Platform And Video Forwarding Mechanism

With the development of the Internet, Micro-Blog, being born and developing rapidly,breaks out another revolution of information spreading through the Internet. Micro-blogpossesses a lot of advantages, such as quick spread, wide spread and efficient spread.The TV Live Broadcasting System and Micro-Blog service are separated in GDTVnetworks, if Micro-Blog is applied to TV Live Broadcasting System, it can improve the rangeof TV program dissemination. In order to achieve this goal, we propose Video ForwardingMechanism with play-time embedded, a method for interacting with others while watchingLive, and forwarding splendid video to Micro-Blog, so that more users may participate inLive Interaction.The goal of Video Forwarding Mechanism is to form a Micro-Blog which includescomments, play-time embedded in video links and screenshot, when this Micro-Blog browsedby others, who can click the play-time embedded in video link, then it may redirect the videolink and start playing from the play-time.In order to complete this goal, it requires four core implementation techniques, whichare play-time extraction, video frame extraction, automatically play-time embedded in videolinks and play-time embedded in video links analysis.The framework includes three modules: P2P networks module, media streaming module,and client module. Tracker server is applied in the part of P2P networks, which has anadvantage that the more users the more fluency. The media streaming media module,completing the Live function of downloading while playing, is implemented by FLVstreaming media framework. The client module, providing the user interactive interface basedon Video Forwarding Mechanism.Based on above work, a video sharing platform website is setup, which provides somefunctions, such as connecting with SinaMicroblog, Micro Live Broadcast and VideoForwarding.
