Under the cloud computing era, the world’s major internet and telecommunications companies have adopted the infrastructure cloud services in order to achieve the goal that improve service quality, reduce operating costs, saving energy and reducing consumption, improve resource utilization rate and so on.The existing infrastructure cloud solutions mostly provided only part of the operation support capacity; and most of them mostly provided the operation support ability only from the level of infrastructure resources, without considering the services/application of upper level, did not provide capabilities of service monitoring, service segmentation and service deployment from the level of service resources, and thus can not fully perceived the upper service/application.The service object of infrastructure cloud is the services/application of upper layer, so it will be an important direction in the future to provide the comprehensively and service oriented support capability, which requires the development of a service oriented infrastructure cloud operation support system.This paper design and implement the infrastructure cloud operation support system (ICOSS, Infrastructure Cloud Operation Support System), and the key technology of ICOSS were studied. The main work is as follows:1) Analyze functional requirements of ICOSS. Take the existing typical IaaS platform as the research object, make detailed analysis from main operation support capability of IaaS platform such as Virtual Machine/Physical Machine monitoring, resource allocation, alarm mechanism, trend prediction, service deployment, service monitoring, service segmentation and so on.2) Design system architecture of ICOSS. Analyze system functional requirements of ICOSS, design it’s interaction model, conceptual model and the hierarchical model, and analyze the implementation mechanism of three subsystems of the hierarchical model deeply, these subsystems include Server, Proxy and Daemon. 3) Study the operation monitoring technology. Study the KVM server virtualization technology and Libvirt virtual development technology, analyze the composition of the cloud resources, determine the object of operation monitoring——Physical Machine, Virtual Machine and application, and study the realization mechanism of Physical Machine monitoring, Virtual Machine monitoring and service monitoring.4) Study the operation optimization technology. Access to the real-time monitoring and trend prediction to capture the current and future resource/service load, according to the load situation, automatically make corresponding decision, through the allocation of resources (dynamic configuration, dynamic migration) and service division,to dynamic optimization of resource allocation in real-time/pre-mobility.5) Realize system prototype of ICOSS. Using QT open source cross-platform development framework, to achieve thetelecommunication services oriented infrastructure cloud operation support system.ICOSS provide comprehensive support capabilities from the perspective of the service, and it achieve the anticipated goal.
