In accordance with the development plan of the Ministry of Agriculture, the total production of milk in China is10.25million tons in2001. However, it will increase to64million tons in2030. With the continuous increment of China’s milk production, the application of the milking machine is increasingly widespread. The cleaning effect of the milking machine is an important indicator to ensure the health and quality of milk.Currently, the function of the automatic cleaning controller of milking machine is simple. The cleaning time is not adjustable and the upper computer communication function is not available. Under this situation, we design a fully functional automatic cleaning control system. In this paper, we research on the process of the milk station automatic cleaning system. In addition, we implement the system by the use of Siemens S7-300PLC and the touch screen. The lower and upper computers are implemented by the software STEP7and Wince Flexible respectively.This cleaning control system can clean the milking machine automatically. Besides that, it also can adjust the cleaning time as needed, and has the function of communication with the upper computer. Not only can this system improve the quality of cleaning, but also production efficiency. It can contribute to the construction of the digital dairy.This system has been applied to the reality. According to the actual results, we can draw a conclusion that this system has a good reliability, high quality on cleaning, and easy to operate.
