The Oversight System For Network Information Research And Reform

Internet nowadays has become one of the most significant infrastructure and new media in the running of the economy in China, and it has influenced society construction and the whole country politically, economically and culturally. According to the29th Statistical Investigation Report on China Network Development of CNNIC, the Chinese netizens are more than500million by the end of December2011, which makes China the real major nation of New Media Era. However, due to the incoordination of multifarious administrations, network service has been inefficiently supervised in the country. Especially for the research of the network service supervision, our country is just at the beginning stage, which means we still lag far behind lots of western countries. This paper adopts case analysis, investigating other country’s well-developed supervision upon network and Dongguan’s practical case about public sentiment, so that we can learn lessons from their previous experience. As a Chinese eastern economy developed area, Dongguan is always a media highly focused city with resourceful news and network information. Although as a small city in Guangdong province, its settlement and difficult at the city’s network information can be used for reference by other cities of our country. Moreover, it can also be of important referential value on network supervision in Chinese present situation. Combining all the foreign countries’experience with this city’s practical solution, this paper brings about value and possible direction of network supervision:Accelerating the pace of legislation relevance, fortifying government supervision, enhancing association function, developing advanced technology, improving reporting system and exposing initiatively. So that it can build up a Nation Order of Chess for country’s network supervision system.
