Recently, with the technology of optical and wireless convergence improved, broadband wireless communication traffics, such as IPTV, VoIP and video conference, have a rapid progress. As kinds of multimedia services popularized the problem of wireless communication spectral resources become more and more serious. To this question, many organizations have already made some achievements, such as moving the carrier frequency to high frequency millimeter-waves (e.g.30~300GHz).How to exactly and effectively assess the researching convergence network’s business carrying capacity from user perspective become more and more popular. QoS has been always used to measure the business carrying capacity. However, QoS is representative of network performance quality, which could not stand for the user’s quality of experience (QoE). Currently, the research for QoE has not been mature. Certain progress in QoE for single service have been made, which is insufficient for multi-service QoE measurement. As a result, it is necessary to make an intensive study of the method for multi-service QoE measurement, which is also the research emphasis of this thesis.In this thesis, millimeter-wave generation technologies and architectures of wireless optical convergence status are given first. A novel design of the wireless optical network architecture using millimeter-wave transmission technology is proposed. Furthermore, service quality measurement for wireless optical convergence network based on millimeter-waves is analyzed. Then, key QoS, QoE metrics and the exiting video quality evaluation methods are discussed. What is more, the business process and key metrics for the convergence networks typical services such as VoIP, IPTV, HTTP and FTP, are analyzed. On the basis of single service, the mathematical model for the relationship between QoE and QoS disturbance for multi-service is proposed. At last, certain parameters are obtained by test equipments and the software. Meanwhile, simulations are conducted verified the proposed method’s accuracy. Accurate real-time service quality could be obtained by the proposed method, which may serve for network operators and research organizations in the future.
