Rail is an important equipment in transportation and production of coal, but it is also a weak part of the laneway. Rail control technology not only affects the efficiency of coal transportation, but also is likely to lead to the accident of coal production. There are two main control method which is manual control method and driver remote control method, and the driver remote control method now is becoming the main control method. It is important to design a rail control system which is fast, reliable and with good interaction.Position sensor, ATmega16, wireless transfer module CC1100, voice chip ISD2560, LED, electric switch machine, remote-control handle with number key and LCD are adopted to constitute rail control system in coal mine. Many functions extend control and check of rail, prompt of rail moving process, feedback of rail moving result, reset of moving failure, self-diagnostic of system fault, handle control are implemented according to the actual requirements of the coal transport. Firstly, model of motor in switch machine is established, and then remote-control system and controller system are designed based on ATmegal6. Duplex communication data between remote-controller and controller is implemented by these two systems in30meters by adopting MCU to control CC1100, and controlling and detecting to the rail through designing communication protocols are achieved based on the ID of rail and mine car. Key-detected circuit is designed to implement the input of rail ID and transmitting of control command and check command of rail, and LCD screen is integrated to display input information and the response message of controller in remote-controller. Control module of electric switch machine is designed to implement rail moving by controlling switch machine positive or negative turn, and detection module of rail position is designed to cut off the power which supplies the switch machine when rail is in right position. The state of rail moving is prompted to driver and worker by LED and ISD2560. Program is designed to implement alarming and rail resetting when rail moving failure happens and power is designed to supply stable working voltage for the controller.Effective control to the rail from driver is implemented, and coal production is improved efficiency. This system adopts duplex communication, adds control and feedback mechanism, and makes the drivers acquire the real-time state of rail by voice and text prompts. The system has many advantages, such as stability, reliability, scalability and easy to operate, and has practical significance on modernization building of the coal.
