Along with the development of our country informationization, to improve the informationization level of education system becomes the focus work of colleges and universities. Amount these works, the construction of campus network is the key of informantionization construction of education system.. Campus network is a platform for educational information. It can greatly promote the higher education teaching and research levels.The thesis uses the campus network construction of Sichuan Top Vocational College as background. Based on the analysis of the situation and the development trend of Institute of Top College campus network, the thesis focuses on a new hierarchical architecture of campus network design. A new reform design scheme of campus network topology is puts forward based on the principle of advance and practical. The campus network security and network management issues are studied in detail. In the aspect of network security, based on the analysis the security risks of physical security, internal network security, business application security, an integrated security solutions of campus network is proposed. In the aspect of network management, the thesis focuses on the network traffic control and user access control.To prevent the abuse of network traffic, the techniques and methods of network traffic control are studied. The network user access behavior is standardized by billing management methods, different user uses different billing method, to ensure the normal users of Internet and campus internal network access the network. Finally, according to the demand of wireless networks for faculty and students, a wireless network coverage solutions is proposed.And effective merge of wireless and wire network is put forward.
