Design And Research Of College Campus Networks Construction Scheme

With the rapid development of Internet, computer network is affecting thesociety from all walks of life, also continues to impact the traditional educationmode. In order to adapt to the new situation, the major of colleges are activelybuilding education informatization. Campus network is the foundation of collegeinformatization. All kinds of systems such as education, learning, scientific research,office work, administrative, etc. can combine with each other organically to realizethe information interaction through campus network. But, with the speeding up ofthe college informatization construction, many campus networks have been unable tomeet the increasing needs. It is imminent to build a perfect reliable campus network.Based on background of Beifang University of Nationalities, this paperdiscusses the current problems of campus network deeply, and carries on analysisand study in detail. In order to solve the problem such as unreasonable planning,slow network speed, as well as to provide a good basic environment to theinformatization construction, a set of reasonable design scheme based on thepractical application as much as possible is given.Firstly, this paper makes an demand analysis on current situation of BeifangUniversity of Nationalities, and points out the shortcomings of campus network.Then, a comprehensive plan of construction and reform is give to solve theseshortcomings. The construction of campus network is a complicated huge project.The design and implementation are the focus as well as the difficulty of this article.A lot of technologies are used, such as VLAN,3layers switching, NAT, ACL, etc.These technologies are all introduced in this paper.Based on the scale and requirements of Beifang University of Nationalities, thedesign uses3layers network structure in physics, namely core layer, distributionlayer and access layer, but2layers in logic in the concrete implementation process.Each of them has different functions, so the equipments selection and designprinciples is not the same. An excellent campus network not only should have areasonable topology structure, but also a reasonable VLAN and IP address planning. This paper give a particular introduce in these two aspects.Campus network faces a variety of security issues when it is rapidly developing.This paper analyses the campus network security problems comprehensively, andpresents the corresponding solutions from physical, network, application andmanagement4aspects. Among them, firewall, intrusion detection system, intrusionprevention system, proxy server and authentication are the mainstream securitytechnologies in campus network.
