The sound signal processing is an important signal processing technology. It is currently the most mature technology. As a rapid development of technology, the sound signal processing has broad application in military, industrial and other fields. This work is as background to propose a new real-time monitoring method for aluminum fuel burning state. The sound signal processing technology and embedded systems combining to get rid of the corresponding space and environmental constraints. It is widely applicable to a variety of complex industrial applications.This subject makes a preliminary study for the embedded sound signal processing completed the development of sound signal processing system. ARM is the main equipment of the system. WINCE is as a platform. It contains the data acquisition, data transmission, and data processing, display parts. This paper introduces the development of detail process. It is in detail in the following aspects:In hardware design, the subject selects S3C2440microprocessor controller by the Samsung S3C2440. External sound collector uses the dust-proof, water-proof, high-fidelity sound sensor.In software design, this subject is based on WINCE system. The VS2005is a software development platform combined with the MFC interface design. It can guarantee that data transmission in real time and effective manner. At the same time using the FFT algorithm research to ensure that data processing is fast and simple.The test results show that the system based on embedded ARM-WINCE sound processing which is developed in this subject on the hardware and software achieves the desired effect.
