With the rapidly development of socio-economic, the living quality of human beings have had a significant improvement. While tall buildings and structures are constructed, people are also aware that the possibility of having fire hazards has also greatly increased. Thus, a wide range of fire detectors have been invented and a variety of fire detect linkage devices were released to help detect fire in tall buildings and structures. This devices use multi-port monitoring with one point guard fire detect strategy to provide a certain extent of fire warning in advance.However, this independent fire detect linkage device requires the use of electricity and cable communications facilities, thus we may face the issue that the power supply and communication facilities may get damaged and unable to work when the fire broke out. Often the fire is not accurately and timely reported is the reason to cause fire spread, causing heavy losses in the end.This article focused on the deficiencies in the current fire detect linkage devices and then designed a new fire detect system based on the internet technology in order to solve exist issues, which particularly refers to the problem when power supply and wired communication system get interrupted and damaged under fire hazard, causing normal fire management system not working properly.This new fire monitoring system uses ZiBbee technology to combine each separate fire detect linkage device together as a network information web. It will upload detected data to the command vehicle and a remote network server through the GPRS network. Specialists can then acquire the real time information directly through the data uploaded by those devices in the background of the management software in order to generate the best plan to extinguish the fire. Moreover, the real time data can be also sent to the relevant person via text message so that they can make right decisions to deal with the fire hazard in the first place. Additionally, it also greatly improves the early fire warning and fire-fighting capabilities to minimize the personnel and property losses caused by the fire. The system has been running at the Sigma Technology Co., Ltd. and it has been tested out to have a good and stable performance.
