Research And Implementation Of Mobile Learning System On IPad

With the development of mobile technology and wireless communication technology, Mobile learning is coming and becomes an important way to learn, Learners can study with their mobile devices at anytime and anywhere, and it is the development of wireless communication technology and mobile terminal equipment that make mobile learning develop better. Currently, as a new mobile terminal device, iPad has functional features like the notebook and good mobility and portability as the mobile phone or PDA, especially its9.7-inch full touch screen can take learners a good interactive experience to make their study simple and efficient. At present, iPad has been applied in education, but it focuses on the development of educational App and ignores the construction of mobile-learning system, so on the basis of the status of iPad application in mobile learning, the paper researches on mobile-learning system for iPad, proposes requirements of mobile-learning resources and interactive experience principles of mobile-learning system, and develop a video-learning system for iPad. The paper’s main work are as follows:(1) Based on research on mobile-learning systems and analysis of iPad, the paper proposes requirements of mobile-learning resource and principles of interactive experience of mobile-learning system for the iPad.(2) With fully touch-interactive feature for the iPad, the paper studies common touch-interaction on the iPad which is used to develop the mobile-learning system to improve interactive experience of the system.(3) The paper studies the mechanism of video-playback, and makes video play in the form of streaming on the iPad with HTML5, HTTP Live Streaming streaming protocols and other related technologies.(4) Combing with the features of iPad, the paper studies the framework of jQuery Mobile and develops the mobile-learning system with jQuery Mobile and HTML5.Characteristics of this paper are to propose requirements of mobile-learning resource and principles of interactive experience of mobile-learning system for the iPad, to research on touch-interaction and the mechanism of video-playback for iPad, and to develop mobile-learning system for iPad in the form of HTML5-based Web, which can be as the reference for the construction of mobile-learning system to make the paper valuable.
