The Tablet PC has won the good graces of more and more people and attracted the consumption crowds of every field due to its High Performances、 outstanding user experience、 nice mobility and portability since2010. First this thesis describes the current development status and the deficiency of the panel PC in the market, and then designs a practical project of Panel PC for Studying based on both the ARM architecture and the WinCE Operation System.This project, which is based on WinCE7.0operating system, takes Freescale’s32bits IMX535D as the hardware system core, consists of Power management、 Audio and Video systems、 Gravity sensor、 light sensor and GPS function modules. The hardware is developed by Altium Designer6.0. The BSP and API of the system are designed by Microsoft Visual Studio2008. Beyond all that the thesis also demonstrably presents the system’s functions、 its technical performance、 the components and its working principle, then highlights the software and hardware design of the main functional module.This thesis first introduces the current situation of Tablet PC and the significance of the work. And the functional requirement together with the guideline request is analyzed secondly. Following on the work the overall design scheme is proposed including the core of the hardware、 the operation system、 the development environment of the design. Then the System Components Principle and the implementation of each functional module are introduced in detail. The design rules of the motherboard are given finally. At last, the main conclusions of this thesis are summed up inductively, and simultaneously the further optimization work is looked ahead.
