The wind is an important meteorological elements,research on mobile wind speed and direction measurement method and system design,which has great significance for meteorology,marine,aviation, wind power, environmental monitoring and other fields.The wind contains two parameters of wind speed and direction.Measurement of wind speed and direction wind vane and wind cups.wind wheel.the hotline(the ball)and ultrasound;ultrasonic anemometers have no moving parts,low start up wind speed, wide measuring range,etc.The traditional wind instrument is related measurements based on the base under the fixed conditions,according to the base speed and direction in order to obtain the actual(as opposed to ground) wind parameters,so the traditional wind instrument can’t meet the mobile field.The paper designed a kind used in mobile conditions,wind speed and direction measuring instruments can be used for vehicle or ship-bome,appropriate improvements can be applied to the offshore buoy-based wind speed and direction measurements.Mobile ultrasonic wind speed and direction measurement system including the ultrasonic wind speed and direction measurement.measurement of the base position,base velocity measurements,and data transmission,display a soft,hardware and related correction algorithm.The ultrasonic wind speed and direction measurements using three pairs of ultrasonic transducers to complete the wind speed and direction measurement,each pair of sensors can issue or receive,use of the integrated magnetic sensor base position measurement,different measurement methods can be used at different speeds according to base type.In order to reduce the mutual interference,to reduce the whole volume,and system hardware will be analog and digital sections are separated from the design.On the hardware implementation is divided into three parts,each sensor by the three circuit boards:the control panel,the ultrasonic transmitter board(high voltage board) of the ultrasonic receiver board,including the control panel and launch board for sharing board,receiver board a separate one.The control board uses32bit microprocessor lpc1768master function,and the completion of the ultrasonic emission timing control,the time difference calculation,the parameter correction, LCD,serial communication,human-computer interaction.The ultrasonic transmitting board to produce the higher voltage of the ultrasonic signal and the emission timing control circuit,the ultrasonic receiver board immediately install the sensor,and the volume is as narrow as possible to reduce the shadow effect of the sensor caused by the wind,thus completing the ultrasound signal the amplification,filtering,and shaping.In order to improve the measurement accuracy system uses a center frequency of200kHz high-frequency ultrasonic sensors.Design and experimental results show,system designed to achieve measurements of wind parameters under mobile conditions,to meet the board vehicles,boats and marine activities platforms such as wind speed and direction measurements. Intelligence conllection,management,and distribution of wind speed and direction information to a certain extent,adapted to the field of meteorology word,reduce application costs;with a wide range in the field of vehicle automatic weather stations,ship-bome mobile wind speed and direction measurement application prospects and higher value.
