Transducer is the tool of obtaining information, it's one of the three supports for information technology. As the one of three kinds of sensors which is most widely applied, flow sensor is very important to improve its performance through research and adopting new technologies. A new style wind speed and direction sensor with high accuracy and low cost for wind field measuring is introduced. The mutual perpendicular wind speed along axes has been measured by sensitive chip and its control circuit. Then a singlechip is used to process the result and wind speed and direction in wind field are gained. There is linearity compensation to signal through singlechip, so higher accuracy can be achieved.Sensitive principle of sensors is introduced, also its structural design in the mass, data processing scheme, circuit design for sensor front channel (including power circuit, control circuit, magnified and compensated circuit), software and hardware design of back channel (including A/D conversion, D/A conversion, asynchronous communication and data processing) are introduced, technics process of production has not been discussed in detail.Reliability should be considered at first as a part of military products. So in order to assure the stability of sensor we take measures in materials selection, instruction design, circuit design and software design, etc.Results of function and environment test are given at the end of the thesis. All tests are under supervision of China Military Electronic Elements Test Center. According the test result, all functions meet acquirements, its accuracy is better than ±1%FS.
