Focusing on the practical environments, the article studies and developsthe sales management system of the Aston. In the article, the entire software developmenthas been described from the requirement analysis, to design and to implementation. It is asummary of a practical project in real business solution, and it agglomerates theexperiences of the project implementation. It is novel and may of use in real industry. Thesystem is designed in B/S mode, and implemented with J2EE. The system greatly clarifiesevery of the components of the modern sales procedure. It brings high reliability and easeof usage with an information platform in enterprise sales domain.The achievements of the article are listed as the following:After tons of reading of the references and long-time practical experiences, weevaluate the trend of the modern enterprise sales and distinct the service products from thetraditional real world goods. This is meaningful especially on the point of study anddevelopment of a production and sales system and avoids the inconvenience brought bymiss configuration of the system.With the thorough understanding of the Aston Education Group, we evaluate thepractical requirements in details which in turn strengthen the foundation of an efficientsales system. The working conditions of the workers would be considered and simplify theproduct line. What’s more, the relationship between erp and sales will be discussed, whichmakes the system design more humanity with easier operation.The article describes the design and implementation of the whole system, in details ofrequirement analysis, functionality design, selection of development tools, and fulfillmentof the project. We will focus on the enterprise requirement, and requirement orienteddesign and J2EE, Struts2, JBoss JBPM etc.Up to now, the system should have been in use. The feedback shows that the system improves the sales of the group and greatly increases the security and privacy. Meanwhile,it offers the elementary materials of the personnel for the assessment.
