In recent years, with the development of smart phones and tablets, especially withthe birth of android, it has become the main embedded operating system in presentmobile devices. Meanwhile it has already got a wide attention in the fields ofacademia and business. And more and more manufacturers have introduced mobilephones or tablets based on android, and many Internet companies also begin tointroduce the mobile phones based on android. For android is an open system, and it isdifficult to be the perfect combination of hardware and software, so how to make thesystem better to adapt to hardware has become a hot spot, and there is a high researchvalue to optimize android operating system to be compatible with the hardware. In this paper we achieve the start-up time optimizationby using) the performance advantage of dual-core CPU and by changing the orders ofsome services during the power on process, and after the optimization the start-uptime decreases obviously. The other is to optimize the image library skia. Weoptimize skia library source through hot function which tested by the oprofile in theimage processing. So users can browse the webs and read the ebooks more fluentlyafter optimization.The main aims of the optimization of power consumption are lowering the systempower consumption and extending the equipments’ standby time on the premise ofsatisfying the users’ performance needs.This paper is mainly to optimize the androidpower source management and CPU FM strategies etc..The key point is to analyseand research the android’s specific power management strategy and the wakelockmechanism, and to put forward a set of lowering power consumption methods basedon wakelock, so the power consumption decreased obviously after optimization. Foroptimizing FM strategies, this paper mainly analyses the android system’s FMstrategies and put up with some my own opinions and they will be helpful forlowering the power consumption.
