With the advent of the information age, people have a higher demand on the speed of access to knowledge, but the traditional library information management system is mainly based on bar code and magnetic stripe technology, in which the library workers have to help the readers to complete the book lending, restitution, that not only increases the amount of staff labor, but also makes readers to wait for a long time. It slows the velocity of circulation of the books and doesn’t make the maximum utilization of library resources.RFID technology, an emerging automatic identification technology, is one of the core technologies of "Internet of Things". The13.56M band RFID tag has been used in RFID library management system. Due to the large volume and can not be hidden paste, the label is easy to damage, that creates a bad influence on the circulation of books and safety monitoring, while the UHF RFID tag has a small size, can be paste inside books and difficult to find,so that it solves this technical problem.This paper researched UHF RFID technology in the management of book circulation by self-help, the hardware and software architecture of the system, and developed the application program, achieved the self-circulation management of books.Firstly, the paper described the research background and significance of the RFID Smart Library, and then discussed the development of RFID technology applied research in the library at home and abroad.Secondly, analyzed framework of RFID smart library system and the functionality of each subsystem. Starting from the system requirements and the actual survey, the article analyzed the function of subsystem of Self-circulation system, on this base determined the system hardware architecture and models, such as the label band, the reader model.Thirdly, analyzed the overall software architecture for self-service circulation system, and divided the program into3modules, two of which:implementation of device management and modification of the network communication protocol were described in detail.According to the functional requirements of each subsystem, the paper developed the application program, the implementation of which was described in detail, and the functionality of the program was tested.Forthly, rearched the seamless identification of a large number of labels, within3.1s, the UHF Reader identified200tags without missing, and the seamless recognition rate was99.7%.Lastly, the content of the work completed in this paper were summarized, at the same time, the next step of improvement was expected.
