Design And Implementation Of Generic Wireless Data Collection And Control System Based On GPRS

In this paper, a wireless data collection controls system based on GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)is proposed.This system mainly included data collection of analog signal(4-20mA and0-5V),switch signal and the image collection. Furthermore the data is transmitted to the remote server which can control the switch of the terminal relays by instructions.The mainly contents in this paper is as following:network structure and transmission principle of GPRS, the design proposal, data transmission scheme, the selection of terminal devices, power estimation, analysis of the global function of the HMI (Human Machine Interface). The circuit structure of the data collection block, the codes of the control part and the HMI of the server were introduced in detail. In this system,STM32F103RBT6is used as the MCU for the data collection controlling block, the GTM900-C for the GPRS module, serial port camera for the image capture,2MB flash memory for the data storage, Delphi7.0for the HMI environment, and Access2003for the database.This data collection system can be used to acquire, store and transfer the data which from4ways analog signal,4ways switch signal and1way image data. Parameters such as terminal device time, IP address, port number, and the interval of data collection can be set by HMI through RS485. Old data could be displayed with table or graphic, and the condition of terminal relays which is set by instructions could be read. During the long-term testing, several problems such as transmission accurate and stable have been solved. Because of the limited time, there still exist some little problems need to be solved in the near future work.
