With constantly complex of the enterprise business operation environment, information rising inflation and continuous improvement of the needs of the business, traditional business intelligence technology can’t meet the requirements of the enterprise users by conducting correlated analyses on historical data. More and more managers need to analyze real-time business data, and make real-time decisions according to the results. Delay exist in data integration, data analysis, decision making and decision implementation of the traditional business intelligence technology, real-time business intelligent can reduce this delay effectively in the data processing process. In order to realize real-time business intelligent and provide real-time decision support, this thesis proposes DSO-based data storage model, and applies this model to business intelligence system to reduce this delay in the data processing process.At first, the thesis has conducted analysis on the existing research in respect of improvement of business intelligence and analyzed the problems of traditional business intelligence at present, it discusses that real-time business intelligence can overcome many problems of traditional business intelligence. Then, the thesis expounds the existing two data modeling ideas and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages. According to the problems of the storage model, the thesis proposes DSO-based data storage model to meet the real-time business needs. The storage model can reduce this delay by realizing data transformation among PSA, DSO and Cube. This thesis proposes that we apply this model to business intelligence system, and analyze the effect of storage model from the view of the whole.At last, for the enterprise of fast moving consumer goods, this thesis verified the method of DSO-based data storage model, which was proved that the proposed method is feasible. Business intelligent system based on the model can reduce data delay effectively in the data processing process and support real-time decision support for managers.
