General aviation is an important part of the civil aviation maintenance and themaintenance management is the guarantee of flight safety. Using information technologyassist maintenance management is the efficiency way which can reduce the cost. In thispaper, the investigation and analysis of general aviation maintenance procedures anddiscussed Chinese general aviation maintenance management methods, studying Chinesegeneral aviation maintenance and management features. Design the general aviationmaintenance management information system suiting for China. This system helps toenhance Chinese general aviation maintenance management level, reducing the safety risksof general aviation operations, and promote the rapid development of general aviation.Taking the aircraft maintenance system of Civil Aviation Flight University of China forstudying, and using the mathematical algorithms for processing which data from flighttraining, the aircraft faults database and the material data. Using the fault tree analysis foranalyzing the fault information of aircraft, realizing the diagnoses function. Using analytichierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for processing informationon air materiel, realizing the function of evaluating the air materiel supplier. Getting thecurrent state information of the aircraft through a comprehensive evaluation of the collecteddata, making a prediction of the future development trends. Based on the researchers, theauthor designs the General Aviation Maintenance Management Information System byDelphi. Choose C/S architecture as the main architecture. Achieved the statistical analyzing,fault handling, forecasting and assessment functions. Also, it developed a dynamic websiteusing ASP scripting language by Dreamweaver, which supplemented by the systemfunction.The paper follows the principles of qualitative analysis and quantitative research,theoretical research and practical applications complementing each other. On the basis of alarge number of practical research, the author designs the General Aviation maintenancemanagement information system at the basic of computer information technology, providing a new way of thinking and methods for maintenance personnel and the owners of theaircraft in real-time monitoring of the security of the aircraft, having an importanttheoretical significance and practical value.
