With deepening of scientific development concept, the ecological perspective of thesustainable development involves the whole life, and in the era of an extensivilyusingtransmission of information, media effects should not be underestimated, the mediasystem ,as a factor of the whole social system, also should follow the the ecological conceptof sustainable development. The media system plays an important role in balance of the socialecology, if uncontrolled or imbalance,the entire socio-ecological would have caused massivedestruction. As the connection point of the media and society, survival of reporters statushave a tremendous impact on the balanced of the entire media ecology. Therefore, journalistliving conditions as the breakthrough point to study of media ecology , becomes the innovationof this paper,but also the practical significance of this article is located.From the living conditions of journalists, this paper analysis of the problems that existin the media ecology.In addition to the method of literature review, the article uses theresearch methods of data analysis and case study,to describe the living conditions ofjournalists, from the occupational safety, job security and career recognition. Occupationalgroups will deny the existential anxiety when they are in survival of the plight. The reporter,as disseminators of information , in a basic position in the media ecology ,there activitiesdirectly related to the follow-up dissemination of information in the chain of the entire mediaecology.However,worrys about the survival situation of the reporter, threats to personalsecurity, can not be met in occupation protection,lower professional recognitio…of whichaffect the balanced development of the media ecology, disclosed the media ecosystem unbalance.Threatened of press occupational safety reflects the difficulties of public opinion,jobsecurity can not meet the defects revealed media employment mechanism, the lower of careerrecognition led to the loss of professional ethics. Reporters’difficulty survival hinderthem to complete professional mission,also hinder the ecological balance of the media.Causing the plight of reporters’survive are many factors. In this paper, using theknowledge of Press Law and the sociology, using the concept of systems theory and holism ,letthe media ecology in the social system, analyzed the reasons for reporters survival dilemma,lack of legal protection , and market-oriented media balances benefits of economic and social ,and inherent defects of the dual media employment mechanism, as well as social and culturalimpact.This paper analyze phenomena and causes of unbalance media ecology from the source of mediaecology, with the reporter’s living situation as the breakthrough point,its purpose is to effectively reconstructs the media ecological balance, safeguard socialinteraction balance between the various system , passing on improve the reporter livingconditions.The governments need to establish a correct concept of news, the media need tostandardize the mechanism for talented people, and the soundness of the legal system,journalists’discipline and the elf-correcting of social cultural, will balabcing the mediaecology.Ensure the functioning of society only to open the information dissemination channels,stabilize social ecology only to balance the media ecology,so maintaining the balance of mediaecology is the objective request of scientific outlook on development, is the premise ofbuilding a harmonious society. Therefore,should take enough attention on the living conditionsof journalists, can not be ignored the imbalance of media ecology. Within the framework of the existing social system,Policy, economy, society and the media itself, should take measuresto adaptation effective, reconstruction of media ecosystem, and ultimately achieve relativedynamic balance.
