The traditional medical monitoring devices typically use a sensor to collect thespecified physiological parameters, and transmit the data to the monitoring center by wayof wire communication. The cable length of the sensor is limited, so the patient often needto be next to the medical monitoring equipment, This allows patients with limited mobility,long-time physiological data acquisition will increase the psychological pressure of thepatient, resulting in restlessness, nervousness, and in turn will cause the untrue data. In thecase of a limited number of devices, if the patient increased, the patient will have to lineup in the monitoring room a long time to wait, which do not conducive to the containmentof the disease and the rehabilitation. To solve the above drawbacks, wireless sensornetwork-medical monitoring system based on CC1100is designed.Wireless sensor networks which is data-centric, with many of the prominentadvantages of the large-scale, digital, interactive, dynamic, self-organization, have broadprospects in many fields, such as environmental monitoring, military applications, theforecasting system, the field of medical care and have made outstanding contributions, especially have important scientific value in the field of wireless medical monitoring. Thehardware circuit of the wireless module is designed based on CC1100, and the dataacquisition node processor module circuit is designed based on MSP430F5418as well assink node processor module circuit based on LPC1758. Pulse signal acquisition circuit isdesigned as the example in this paper. According to the characteristics of the design, theframework for a simple operating system with a number of tasks is designed, and then thecommunication protocol between nodes is designed, which can well meet therequirements of the application. In the low-power design, this article details the low powermode application of MSP430, and the WOR function of CC1100, the combination of thesetwo aspects can be very good to achieve low power consumption. Finally, the necessaryparameters of the system is tested, the performance test shows that the system is able tomeet the wireless physiological parameter acquisition system used in hospitals. Thisdesign can significantly reduce hospital operating costs, and the workload of medical staff,it makes a positive contribution to the developments in the field of vital signs monitoring, and gives some guidance for future exploration.
