After the analysis about vehicle parameter test system at home and abroad, the paper putsforward a way of design miniature strain tester which is micro volume in the field of storagetest technology, in view of the current vehicle test problems, such as the bad environment, thenarrow space and so on.Based on the strain measurement principle and theory, the paper designed Basic structureof the strain tester and the test circuit. The design is completed by the core MSP430microcontroller, non-volatile FLASH memory and USB readings interface. The paper verifiesthe feasibility and rationality of the tester through the simulation of the key part of the testcircuit and testing laboratories. The mode of tester sampling such as multi-channel,continuous and random trigger may be suitable for different types of parameter dataacquisition. The collected data is uploaded to the host computer for display, analysis andprocessing through the USB interface.The micro-strain tester has the characteristics of micro-volume, low-power and high-capacity data storage. Many problems in the dynamic parameter test of vehicles canbe effectively solved, Such as test in the small test space, the harsh test environmentand real-time recording parameters in the long time. The design provides the basis forthe vehicle condition monitoring and fault analysis.
