In fields such as manufacturing and engineering applications,accurate measurement of strain and deformation of materials and devices is becoming more and more important.For example,strain measurement is very important in aircraft manufacturing performance testing,rail transit safety operation monitoring,and bridge health monitoring.The accurate measurement of strain is inseparable from the high-precision strain metrology traceability system.Therefore,it is of great significance to establish a strain gauge measurement standard device to improve the accuracy and consistency of strain measurement in China.This paper focuses on the key technologies for establishing a standard device for the measurement of strain gages.Firstly,by studying the strain measurement method and analyzing the measuring principle of the strain measurement sensor,and referring to relevant national standards and technical specifications,a set of key measurement characteristics were proposed to characterize the measurement performance of the strain measurement sensor,and a calibration method for strain sensor was given.Secondly,the mechanical execution system of calibration device of the strain measurement sensor was designed to realize the free adjustment of the gauge length of the strain gage sensor from 5mm to 500 mm,and the corresponding length measurement stability was better than 50nm;the design based on the Michelson laser interferometry length measurement technology was high.Precision optical measurement system with a resolution of 1nm can well meet the calibration requirements of resistive,vibrating wire,and fiber grating strain measurement sensors.Thirdly,the high-precision motion control system was developed based on electronic components such as Yaskawa DC servo motor,motor driver,and intelligent controller.Based on the strain acquisition instruments of American NI Corporation and German HBM Corporation,a strain signal acquisition system was integrated.Fourthly,based on the Visual Studio compiler,using C# language,a set of software for controlling the movement of the motor was programmed,the high-precision control of the movement in the strain gauge calibration was realized,the accuracy of calibration and the calibration speed were improved,and a set of measurement characteristic analysis software was written.Improves the speed of calibration data processing.Finally,the calibration experiment of the measurement characteristics of the vibrating wire strain sensors was carried out.According to the measurement process,a calculation method for the measurement characteristics of the strain measurement sensor was proposed and the measurement uncertainty evaluation was performed.
