With the rapid development of science and technology, computer technology, with its high speed, precision, convenience and other advantages is very common in various fields of use.Additionally, the rising of socio-economic level makes the demand for electricity at home and abroad rise constantly. And the construction and maintenance of power system has entered a new era of management control. It is power network operation systematization, and automatic intelligent command and management. That is, namely, power network operation command system IOSS. The software development of such systems is to achieve the important requirements of safe power network production operations, testing and clearing of the fault, and the pre-control identification of risk and so on. It is new developed software in order to fully meet the departments "super-stable" demand for electricity supply in the important region. Therefore, to make the network more efficient operation, a set of strong software technology is particularly important.It takes the Beijing Electric Power Company for an example to illustrate the practical application and excellence of computer software technology in this power IOSS system. It discussed the work principle of power network operation command system in capital power supply business from several aspects, such as software development purpose and significance, software technical requirements and implementation, and software test run effects. This article focuses on standardization of IOSS system, integration, stabilization and other technical features, also introduces ESB bus, real-time data refreshes, device identification, description of the GIS environment, local three-dimensional data updates and other related technologies, and the design and implementation of several key management system in IOSS system, such as risk management and control systems, troubleshooting systems, and assessment management systems, and links between related management control platform. This paper hopes that form introducing the details of the power IOSS system, we can know the superiority and practicality of the software technology, and the important role of software development technology in power network operation command system for which the network security risk management and emergency response failure run as the main line.
