Designing And Application For Media Assets Managing System

In today’s broadcasting and television industry, the main products in the TV station, where the TV program can be produced, are video and audio programs, as well as script editing, TV character module making, actual sound character editing, narration editing... etc. As we know, the programs and clips have very high value, some of them are much more expensive even than some fixed assets such as devices, and further more, some of them are unique and precious. With the development of device manufacturers and information technology, high definition devices and programs have appeared and are getting more and more, and accordingly, traditional tapes have not been able to satisfy the demand of programs making and saving. So how to save and use the media assets has become an imperious work to most of TV station and some relevant fields. In order to be intensive to this point, this thesis makes designing and application for media assets system as the researching direction.First of all, this thesis indicates the necessity of setting up media assets managing system after analyzing not only current situations in broadcasting and television industry, but also traditional method of material application and saving. And then, as regards that demands, this thesis gives out the method for how to use the media assets managing system to manage the media assets so as to keep the media assets being reused effectively, at the same time, also digs out the intangible value for media assets. Designing and Application of Media Assets Managing System which is introduced in this thesis exactly brings about the desired results above.In this thesis, I described the system overall framework, modules to be divided and their relations in general designing chapter. After that, I also introduced transaction procedures and interface definitions for all the modules in detail in detailed designing chapter. Finally, I introduced application prospects of designing and application of media assets managing system in broadcasting and television industry.
