In the last three decades, great achievements have been made in china’s telecommunications industries. At present, scale of telecommunications network and technology of network information in China are ranked in the world. Telecommunications have greatly facilitated people’s lives. People’s lives have become increasingly inseparable from telecommunications services. Telecommunications net-work not only provides a platform for people’s communication, but it also plays a very important role in supporting transportation, finance, energy provision, e-commerce and other information networks. Therefore, safety of the telecommunications network impacts on our economy, transportation, people’s normal life and social stability. However, a lot of security issues also supervened because of the opening and sharing service. A large number of viruses, trojan, hackers, denial of service attacking and other events emerge in endlessly and this seriously affected the people’s normal life and development of information industries.Telecommunications network has becoming an important part of the infrastructure in our country and its security is very important for us. Because the existing safety inspection system is basically for the whole network and telecommunications networks is large and complex, operators expect to analyze the security of telecommunications from a business perspective. So, research of integrated, configurable, business used, and visualization platform for telecommunications services safety detection has become extremely important.Based on the above analysis on safety of telecommunications services, as well as requirements of a flexible, configurable and visual platform for safety inspection, here we design a security detecting platform for telecommunications system, and implement this based on MMS for the MM1 interface, including policy configuration and management, task management, tool management, results management and other important modules. Snort is used for the underlying detection in this platform system. The Snort intrusion detection system is an open and free source because of its ability to adapt a variety of operating systems relatively low hardware requirements, simple syntax and more timely updates. So Snort is a worldwide popular intrusion detection system. This platform is based on B/S architecture. Users can directly use it through the browser. For example, users can assign a detection task, develop detecting strategies, set the plug-in parameters, view logs, and view the results and so on for a targeted service. The security detecting results will be performed to the user with report or statistics graphically through the platform.
