The Design And Implementation Of Partner Relationship Management Portal

In view of portal development and based on theory of software architecture, this paper describes the design process of partner portal structure based on user requirement analysis as well as explain how to implement the partner portal function by Java language.This paper aimed at provide an approach to portal system provider on how to implement the function requirement and keep the system loose-coupling, extensible and maintainable simultaneously through appropriate system design, development language when there is big difference among peripheral systems.The partner portal system requirement is built in three steps analysis. First, based on the deference between user’s concerns, three roles based function requirements would be created, which cover end-user, agent and Telecommunication operation business managers.Then, based on the end-user and network, three high level function requirements would be created, including performance requirement, security requirement and GUI requirement.Finally, pay more attention to the function interface that partner portal specific requirements. All above requirement building are implemented by business process diagram, business process description and index value externalization, which would be consolidate foundation to next step, the system design.General design includes business architecture design, information architecture design, application architecture design, integrated architecture design and technology architecture selection.Based on the general design, this paper describes the design of function interface and implementation in details, including physical model, common framework and implementation design.The lost-card-replacement system was as an example to describe how to design and implement.A big problem of portal to application developer is how to adapt the difference among different vendor’s peripheral system and user habituation in different localities.This paper provides an approach to solve the problem by hierarchical design and decouple relationship between different layers. Java language is used to customize the periphera 1 system implementation.At last, this paper summarizes the possible problem when the system is put into use and plans the system future direction.
