User’s Behavior Research Of Touch-Screen Smartphone

With Apple’s iPhone, which first released in 2007, touch-screen becomes the standard configuration of smartphone. Also, Touch-screen smartphone has become the latest development trends of mobile phone. At the same time, with the development of mobile Internet and 3G network, the boundaries between Telecommunications and Internet increasingly blurred. Telecom operators strive to transform for the Internet, whereas Internet companies are actively developing field of mobile Internet. In this context, the market of touch screen smartphone develops rapidly. It’s becoming more and more important role as a portal of mobile Internet services, which users access to mobile Internet. However, what are the features of use behavior of the touch-screen smartphone? How users attitude to the new design of touch-screen smartphone, such as new interact mode and somatosensory operation. The answer of these questions is the key to touch-screen smart phone design, which will relate to the users future need. With the technology acceptance model (TAM) as the basic model, this study tries to analyze the attitude and behavior of touch-screen smartphone users, and finds out the relationship between these factors, which influence users’ behavior.Technology acceptance model (TAM) is the classic model in the area of new technology acceptance. This study applies TAM as the basic model, integrate interactive experience, perceived value, perceived entertainment, compatibility and device environment to predict user’s behavior of touch-screen smartphone. The proposed model was empirically evaluated using survey.There are four major research works in this paper as listed below:First, based on literature study this paper summarizes the phase characteristics of mobile phone development, described the evidence and significance of the touch-screen smartphone era, and proposed definition of touch-screen smartphone.Second, summarizing the authority theoretic and literature in the fields of technology acceptance model (TAM), interaction design and user experience and so on. Summarizing the empirical study of smart phone has been used the TAM.
