Study On Business Model Of Digital Publication Based On E3-Value

With the quick development of internet and the arrival of 3G eras, reading habits and the way of getting information have been changed. Besides, the digital publication has been very popular in the whole world. In this circumstance, the structure of publication chain is not controlled only by the traditional publishing department; in the contrast, it is controlled by traditional publishing department, digital technology provider, network service provider, terminal equipment manufacturer and some other factors. So, the existing business model is not suitable for the demand of digital publication.The inefficiency cooperation among participants of industrial chain has caused many problems, such as the disunity of digital technology standard, the scarcity of contents, insufficient copyright monitoring, and unclarified profit model and so on. This makes the domestic digital publication still in the relative initial stage, without a stable and beneficial business model. Depending on the research of all participants of publication chain, this paper proposes that the publication industry alliance should be build to combine the advantage of all participants. Considering the digital publication industry alliance as the aim, this paper construed the business model from three parts, the value proposition, the value support and the value keep.This paper has constructed a value model of digital publication industry alliance using the software of e3-value. Depending on the model, this paper has finished the simulation calculation, simulation analysis. Besides, this paper has finished the feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis of some parameters to supplement the existing research and design methods of business mode.The future of publication industry is decided by the digital publication. So, a clear and beneficial commercial mode of digital publication will help the development of digital publication and push it forward in a healthy direction. In general, it will improve the development of the whole publication industry.
