Study On The Impact Of MSC POOL In Core Network

With the development of network, MSC Pool is one of the research hot spots in core network development. MSC Pool technology has a role of improving equipment utilization, saving signaling overhead, reducing the switch between the board, improving network performance, and many other advantages in the circuit domain of the core network. China Mobile has been steady progress in the deployment of the existing network and construction implementation of MSC Pool.Now MSC pool related information usually describes the MSC Pool technology advantages and applications itself, but less research on the impact of the existing network and related network element equipment.This thesis collects business indicators and resource utilization data before and after the MSC Pool networking of CM branch of the four cities, involving a total of four mainstream MSC device manufacturers, Huawei, ZTE, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks. Through data analysis,we get the quantitative or qualitative conclusions of the impact of MSC Pool in core network and verify the technical advantages of MSC Pool.This thesis also study on TC resources occupancy rate increasing problems and solutions of MGW.As well, it study on the impact of the MSC Server, HLR and STP’signaling link configuration if called recovery function enables in MSC Pool.
