With the development of technology and the integration of telecom. Next Generation Operations Support Systems gradually developed into an online resource sharing, to avoid low-level duplicated construction, the formation of wide applicability, easy maintenance, and low-cost platform. At present, functionality of business management system in the field of communication is complex and multitudinous, which leads to solid and dispersed business processes in modules of subsystem, the centralization business processes to create, to view and to approve cannot be achieved,much less track the state of business processes, The business management system has become increasingly unable to meet the requirements of new business, especially business processes changes and processes to terminate and the abolition of processes and processes of collective management. Therefore, a comprehensive, integrated business processes management platform for customers is the inevitable result.First this thesis describes the development of BOSS referred to Business & Operation Support System and the background, which emphasizes the need for building a flexible business operation support system. On this basis, this thesis analyzes the BOSS system architecture, functional architecture, system data structure, system application architecture, system core technology solutions and business process management system overall design. Then, based on SERVELET technology, Web Services, Spring Framework, Hibernate and JBPM workflow engine,it analyzes the business management subsystem detailed design and implementation, and which applies it to the BOSS in the communications field via using MVC architecture design in general. This thesis analyzes and design BOSS five major functional modules:business process management subsystem, CRM, service management and operations, billing and account management, marketing management and product management, the most important are the business processes and dozens of sub-business processes, which analyzes particularly how to use business process management subsystem to resolve fast and efficiently production and changes problems of complex and multitudinous business processes by three aspects including functionality, process diagram and implementation. Finally, author does a comprehensive summary to BOSS and will discuss its future development.
