Research And Realization Of The Inventory Management System Based On J2ee

With the development of information technology and economic globalization, The market is increasingly competitive and saturated. Enterprises need to optimize the management, reduce costs and increase profits by implementation of ERP. Inventory management system is an important part of ERP. Traditional inventory management only involve in the process within a single enterprise, focus on the optimization of the inventory costs within the only one enterprise, the theory and methods can’t adapt to current complex management environment. With the quick development of Internet and Logistics, the research of supply chain inventory management become a hot issue on the models of enterprise information, so how to use computer systems with the aid of managing inventory has important practical significance. Therefore, how to follow the Supply Chain Management process and build a J2EE-based Inventory MIS for adapting to future changes in logistics is the main content and significance of this thesis.By putting the supply chain inventory management processes into enterprise inventory management processes, it can make the MIS system to be a distributed service platform with a uniform plan and standard and it will be better address problems, such as simple inventory control policy, changes in demand for information transfer inefficiency, inventory wastage or unstable.This system base on object oriented method and B/S 3-tier architecture. Implement the inventory management system by analyzing and designing the workflow module, the deposit/withdraw processes module and the comprehensive inquiry modules. The technologies involved in the system include JSP, Servlet, JDBC and EJB etc. JSP/Servlet which is the presentation layer is responsible for generating view and can generate flexible, nice page for customers. EJB is mainly used for the logic layer to handle business logic and data persistence issues. JDBC is responsible for accessing to the database and read/write data quickly.This thesis have a innovation about the design of basic modules and the combination of the modules and the workflow engine. Use the object oriented method on higher logical levels by implementing variable EJB components of the basic modules; make the workflow engine support more complex work by combination of the base modules and the workflow engine. MVC model design and implementation in accordance with the system, it force the programmer to abstract code, make the program structure more clearly, loose coupling between modules and the team in accordance with a rational division of labor and parallel development. Using common tools such as Powerdesigner, Eclipse and open source code such as MyEclipse can reduce the development workload, shorten the development cycle and reducing the cost of the project.This system followed the J2EE standard and made an innovation on the supply chain inventory management model. It reduced the cost and brought a positive social significance.
