Surface quality inspection is an important way to enture the quality of theworkpiece. An on-line high-speed measuring system based on machine vision wereresearched in this paper. Now the main measuring methods of workpiece still remainat the stage of manual testing, which is inefficient, big labor and strong subjectivity.So it is important to realize the on-line high-speed measuring of the workpiece.An on-line high-speed measuring system based on DM6467 were researched inthis paper. The main work and innovation were as follows.(1)A new on-line measuring method based on array CCD wasproposed.Researched and designed the key of this deteciton method, include theimaging theory, the matching between detection efficiency and conveyor speed.Finally, the main imaging factors were analyzed, such as moving blurring, exposuretime, location accuracy.(2)A highly versatile high-speed image acquisition method was designed, theimage acquisition that the CCD is in asynchronous reset mode.Designed thehigh-precision timing of asynchronous reset and the asynchronous reset circuit,completed the image acquisition hardware system architecture based on high-speedCCD to achieve high-speed image acquisition, storage, display and so on.(3)A TCP-IP protocol-based ethernet transmission software was designed fordata exchange between acquisition system and processing system. Use socket tocomplete and the result meet requirements of real-time interactive for image date.(4)A high-speed image processing system based on high-performance digitalprocessor TMS320DM6467 was designed. Complete the algorithm of surface qualityinspection on DM6467 and optimize the hardware and software to full dual-coreprocessing capacty.The results showed that the workpiece surface quality on-line high-speeddetection system can effectively complete the quality inspection. The accuracy can upto 0.1mm. And the efficiency can reach 20 chips per second.
