RFID (radio frequency identification) technology uses radio frequency to identify objects with tags, which is a non-contact automatic identification technology. It has been applied in many fields, such as, medical, aerospace, construction and oil equipment maintenance, automotive and retail. It can be in the greatly improved management and operational efficiency at the same time, operating costs also can be reduced. In this thesis, based on the proposed project from the RIEST, RFID-based open access system is designed and implemented. It contains reader control module, IO communication module, messaging module and search module. As the reader of NFC-9501M is a only serial communication and passive reader, microprocessor-based LPC2378 reader control system is designed as well as an increase in the external RTC (real time clock), chip Flash, with infrared module and liquid crystal display module. It can identify whether someone is out of the door and can read the tag information. At the same time, It can also filter the data by given order, and on-chip flash that has been kept by legitimacy of data validation. Finally, it sends tag data and the time information in real time via LAN to host computer in accordance with custom communication protocols, enabling the capture and verify attendance data.On the host computer's side, IO control module communicates with the control module of readers. The main function of this module is to parse from a reader on the control module to send the data, and convert it into a package object by the message passing module objects to JMS (Java Message Service) messages for delivery specifications for enterprise application systems, business processing. In this thesis, using Lucene indexing technology for business process provides a common library file indexing and searching API, and makes it possible in the 10 million data search time of less than 10 seconds. The open access system main functions: Firstly, for the RFID reader's operating frequency is 915MHz, it can be achieved over long distances; Secondly, it does not use electronic locks to control access; thirdly, for the reader of NFC-9501M integrated anti-collision algorithm, it is able to identify more than one label at the same time.
