Analysis Of Network Opinion Of Populism

Network populism is a special and more influential manifestation of populism in the Internet. It has some characteristics such as advocating civilians, against elites, critical and irrational, which can affect net citizens’thought and speech. Recently,in some network public opinion of network events,network populism raises a lot of opinion storms in The case of a girl disfigured in Hefei,The case of drag racing Hangzhou,The gate of LiGang and the case of Liangli.In recent years, network populism as one kind of special network phenomenon has caused the attention of scholars, gradually show hot trends, but the theoretical research and case study is not much, particularly the research on the reasons of network populist is not enough.Comprehensive qualitative analysis and case analysis are the main research methods in this article.On one hand,explain the network populism related concepts from the macro level;On the other hand, mainly selected three value case in network and analysis specific performance, typical characteristics of network populist. What’s more,I try to explore the reasons of network populist in different events.The basic framework of whole article is as follows:First of all, I introduced the research background of the thesis, selected topic basis, research purpose, research status and sample selection. The first chapter expounds the concepts and characteristics of populism and network populism, which is the theoretical basis of the next part. From the second to the fourth chaptert of this paper is a content analysis,which discuss the populist opinion in the three network of public events respectively.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part of the thesis, focusing on the causes of network populist in present China.Finally, through the research discovery:On one hand, it concerns civilians and vulnerable groups, and give the ordinary people provides new views of channel expression;On the other hand, it contains a large number of non rational factors, which is easy to form the network of violence.Besides, the fundamental reason of Network populismlies in the Chinese social contradictions.
