Wheelchair is one of the most important ones.The electric wheelchairs driving force is DC motor, and can achieve forward, backward, certain radius turns, stops and other activities. Through the seat and backrest adjustment to increase the user’s comfort, complete the connection to bed in daily life. The main task is to design the motor drivers, which includes two wheel driver motors and two position adjustable motors for seat and backrest.First analyzed the electric wheelchair special control requirements, according to wheelchair drive system technical requirements in national wheelchair standards, then built electric wheelchair control system based on TMS320F2812DSP, proposed double-closedloop control of current inner and speed outer. A suitable mathematical model of motor was established according to motor electrical characteristics.The driver system was simulated and emulated by the software of Matlab/Simlink, verified the control algorithm and determined the control parameters. Subsequently hardware was designed and realized. Programming was designed using assembly language and C language. Integrated hardware and software debugging was conducted. The control effects was tested and analyzed.The operation of system is simple, convenient, with low cost and high reliability except for practical, innovative, advanced feature. It is a new, high reliability, mechanical and electrical integration of the motor-digital control system.
